SERPENTINE is a multidisciplinary cultural space in Kukaj, near Prishtina — a place for artistic production, performance, residency, encounter and cultural participation.
A PLACE IN MOTION
SERPENTINE brings together theatre, artistic installations, music, creative residencies and public cultural activity in a setting outside the conventional urban cultural environment.
Its programme connects artists, young practitioners and audiences through production, experimentation, exchange and year-round activation, while the physical space itself — its stages, residential facilities, outdoor areas and permanent works — forms part of the artistic experience.
SPACE. ART. ENCOUNTER.
The website reflects the same logic as the physical place: programme is not separated from space, and artists are not separated from the work they create. Productions, residencies, installations and public encounters become part of an evolving cultural archive.

BUILT FOR MAKING
The existing SERPENTINE infrastructure includes three equipped indoor theatre halls, backstage and dressing areas, five artist residential units, multifunctional creative spaces, outdoor artistic areas and permanent site installations.

In 2025, TANA Production realised Një Prolog në Serpentine in Kukaj as a multidisciplinary initiative involving artistic residencies, installations, performances and creative encounters between artists and the community.
The experience established a practical basis for SERPENTINE's further development as an open cultural platform for contemporary artistic production and public participation.
THE ORGANISATION
TANA Production is a cultural non-governmental organisation active in theatre, film, artistic production, youth cultural engagement, festival organisation and support for emerging artists and cultural initiatives.
SERPENTINE is developed through TANA Production's artistic and cultural work. The space and its infrastructure are provided by TANA Production for SERPENTINE's programme and collaborations.
